Anderson Island Citizens' Advisory Board

AICAB was created by Pierce County ordinance to "serve in an advisory capacity to the Pierce County Council and the Pierce County Executive", and to "facilitate a structured two-way communication process between the County and Island residents, property owners, and business owners regarding significant issues affecting the community" ...including "land use, environmental regulations, infrastructure, schools, ferry service, and public safety."

AICAB meetings are the second Thursday in every quarter (January, April, July, October) at 7pm at the American Legion community center.

B. Dog Waste Stations near island ferry terminal parking and sidewalks? Has the County Approved us installing and Park maintaining?
C. Any changes to boarding procedures regarding the review of medical priority boarding?
D. Set special meeting for Bylaw amendment to replace Anderson Island Community Club with American Legion Community Center in the bylaws. This is to match changes the county already made following the dissolution of the Community Club. What is everyone’s availability for May 7th for a zoom special meeting?
7. New Business
A. Regarding Gas Cans on the ferry. Do we want to request the following? That the county get more firm numbers regarding costs for full allowance of gas can on the ferry that doesn't reduce passenger capacity. Then conduct polling of residents regarding our desire or lack of for paying for the additional costs to allow gas cans on the ferry.
B. Does the county have plans regarding implementation of a county ferry district? If so, what does that look like?
